Description
The purpose of this position is to assist the Head Bass Fishing Coach and Outdoor Fellows Program Director in program operations, scheduling, marketing, and compliance.
Essential Job Duties
- Manage travel (hotel bookings and reimbursements).
- Assist with risk management, including drafting and implementing policies, procedures, and waivers.
- Assist with the setup/schedule of firearm training, sexual harassment training (Title IX), and safety programs.
- Assist in completing travel paperwork as needed.
- Oversee Outdoor Fellows trips, special events, camps, community service projects, and conservation projects (Planning/Booking).
- Knowledge of purchasing and selecting outdoor recreational equipment. (supplies, gear, uniforms, and other clothing).
- Maintain and update the Outdoor Fellows website, including calendar of events, trip and event registration and information, photos, etc.
- Oversee interns, internship programs, and other employees.
- Manage the scholarship award process, prepare letters to send to applicants, and communicate awards to Admissions and Financial Aid.
- Coordinate program assessment efforts, including participation data and learning outcomes.
- Perform general equipment maintenance and logistics for pre-trip planning and post-trip cleanup.
Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with administration, faculty, coaching staff, students, and alumni.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends.
Desired:
- Master’s Degree.
