Company History

Founded in August, 1997 by Max W. Mitchell, the company has grown to two offices and over 20 professional staff members. On March 5, 2007, Max, President & CEO, announced that Maureen Wylie was being promoted from a Senior Search Consultant to Vice President, Recruitment in the company's Health Information Division. Also being promoted was Anita Pate from Senior Search Consultant to Vice President, Recruitment in the company's Nursing Leadership Division. Maureen joined Stern & Associates in June, 2001 and Anita in February, 2002.

On January 2, 2008, Max W. Mitchell, President & CEO proudly announced the promotion of Maureen Wylie from Vice President to Senior Vice President of Recruitment. Max stated that Maureen was a greatly valued asset to the company, and he looked forward to working with her for many more years to come.

On March 28, 2008, Max W. Mitchell, President & CEO proudly announced the promotion of Nancy Walker to the position of Vice President of Recruitment. Nancy Walker joined Stern & Associates in April, 1999. Nancy is a valued asset of the company!!!

On July 16, 2012, Max W. Mitchell, President & CEO announced the promotion of Alicia Chapman to the position of Vice President of Recruitment. Alicia first joined Stern & Associates in December, 2000.
