Company History
Lifework NW is a multidisciplinary, private, non-profit community agency. The organization began in 1961 as a child guidance clinic, and has since grown into a comprehensive facility and major provider of behavioral health services, in Washington, Multnomah and Clatsop Counties in Oregon. The service area comprises suburban and urban segments of metropolitan Portland and rural agricultural communities.
It is the mission of LifeWorks NW to provide quality professional care to all segments of this diverse population and to offer advanced training to mental health professionals.
The organization endorses a broad community model of intervention, which stresses prevention, coordination of care and brief focused treatment. There are six program areas within the organization:
• Older Adult Services;
• Adult Mental Health Services;
• Child & Family Services;
• Adult and Youth Addictions;

LifeWorks NW offers full-time regular employees full coverage for medical, dental, vision, life and long term disability insurance. Employees working 20 hours or more have prorated premiums.
