Good Samaritan Hospital is a progressive, independent, county-owned facility with 202 beds. Celebrating our 106th year of service, Good Samaritan Hospital is Indiana’s first county hospital, opening our doors with 25 beds in 1908. We are set in an historic, small town on the banks of the Wabash River but offer a wide range of services to a ten county area with a population of 200,000. We hold Joint Commission accreditation and Magnet designation. Our medical staff consists of more than 100 active physicians and 1900 employees.
