BVRMC is a JCAHO accredited facility with a 50+ year history of improving the health of the people and communities we serve. 400+ employees, 25 bed critical access facility offering a wide range of medical, surgical and specialty services. The facility is located in Storm Lake, a community of more than 11,000 in northwest Iowa. Storm Lake enjoys a 3,200 acre lake surrounded by many public parks, private and public golf courses, campgrounds, and a bike/hike trail. A highly acclaimed public school system, a private K-12 school, a community college, and Buena Vista University are all a valuable part of this growing community. AWAYSIS, a $30 million dollar recreation and area enhancement project includes a beautiful lakeside lodge, an indoor and outdoor water park, campgrounds, cabins, family-friendly playground, and a new sandy beach.
