Founded in 1990 by a pair of former McKinsey and Bain consultants, SAGE provides campus dining services for independent schools and colleges across the Continental United States and British Columbia. SAGE has grown organically for 25 years and has a pronounced preference for “making” vs. “buying” capabilities. The company competes successfully in its market against the largest food service contractors in the world.
