Description
The Department of Education and Human Services invites applications for a non-tenure-track and non-tenured Teaching Assistant Professor with a specialization in Counseling Psychology, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. This academic-year position is a renewable, fixed-term, non-tenure-track, full-time position. The initial term of appointment is three (3) years.
Requirements
Candidates must have an earned PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Counseling Psychology or a closely related field by the date of employment. Candidates must be a licensed psychologist in PA or license-eligible in PA and must be eligible for all state-mandated clearances, including FBI Federal Criminal history, Record (Act 114), Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check (Act 34), Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151), and Tuberculosis clearance. Candidates must have successfully completed at least one prior teaching experience (including a teaching assistantship or co-teaching) by date of employment.
