WEI is part of the iconic Watergate complex in Washington DC, which includes three high-end exclusive cooperatives, two office buildings, and a hotel. The Board and shareholders are served by a team of 30 employees in departments including management, security, doormen, front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance. The Cooperative seeks an assistant general manager with the potential and capability to ascend to the general manager position upon the retirement of the current general manager in approximately two years.
Salary is commensurate with experience.

Requirements
Minimum five years of experience in community association management, property management, facilities management, hospitality, or luxury residential management.
A deep understanding of community association management required; CMCA®, AMS®, and or PCAM®designations are preferred. Specific experience with high-end communities and historic buildings is also preferred.
Supervisory experience managing teams of at least 10.
Bachelor’s degrees required; advanced degrees preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Skill in working with multiple constituencies, including staff, residents, contractors and vendors, with particular attention to effective and constructive resident-staff interactions.
