Salary Range: $73.12 - $76.30 per hour
About the role
Permanent part time opportunity to provide high quality, evidence-based Rapid Geriatric clinical services as a member of the Healthy Ageing Assessment and Rehabilitation Team (HAART), providing outpatient support close to home to improve people's wellbeing, functional capacity, independence and quality of life.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver advanced Interdisciplinary (Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy) clinical services of a complex and varied nature for geriatric and rehabilitation care for persons with neurological conditions, complex medical comorbidities and other conditions in accordance with prescribed own professional and ethical standards, with minimal direct clinical supervision.
- Exercise clinical judgement in providing services of a complex nature in a community setting where principles, procedures, techniques or methods require expansion, adaptation or modification.
- Provide timely, high level clinical advice to a range of health professionals, supervisors, managers and stakeholders, both internal and external to the HHS, regarding service delivery, including prioritisation and changes in clinical practice, equipment and technological advances.
- Accountable for the provision of leadership within a legal, professional and ethical framework that ensures contemporary patient care and staff management practices.
