Bainbridge Island School District is seeking an Assistant Director of Student Services to provide leadership and coordination for districtwide student support systems serving students in grades 7–12, including inclusionary practices, secondary counseling programs, and the Adult Living Program. Working collaboratively with school leaders, staff, families, and community partners, the Assistant Director helps foster inclusive learning environments, strengthen systems of support, and promote meaningful postsecondary and life outcomes for all students. Essential Functions
Collaborate with district and school leaders to review student, behavioral, attendance, and intervention data in order to strengthen systems of support, inclusive practices, and positive school culture across grades 7–12.
Provide leadership and guidance to administrators, counselors, teachers, and families regarding student support systems, behavioral interventions, restorative practices, and district procedures related to student services.
Support transition planning and coordinated services for students, including transitions between middle school, high school, postsecondary pathways, and the Adult Living Program, with a focus on meaningful outcomes for all learners.
Coordinate and support secondary counseling programs to promote student well-being, academic planning, belonging, and college, career, and life readiness.
Facilitate professional learning for administrators and staff focused on inclusionary practices, restorative approaches, student engagement, behavior supports, and strategies that foster safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments.
Prepare reports, presentations, and communications related to student services programs, implementation, and student outcomes for district leadership and the Board of Directors.

Education & Experience
Washington state administration certification
Master’s degree in educational administration or related field
Minimum of two years of successful experience in a similar leadership role
