The Assistant Manager, Group Financial Reporting will support the Group Reporting team in delivering accurate and timely financial information. The primary aspects of this role is legal entity controller for LSEG plc as well as other corporate function entities. This role is integral to the month end and year end processes for Groups corporate entities, with a focus on month end support for key journals , reconciliation and financial analysis of Corporate entities.
ROLE SUMMARY: •
• Legal entity controller for LSEG plc as well as other corporate function entities.
• Prepare monthly analysis for LSE Group plc and other corporate entities, identifying root causes and potential corrections.
• Approvals for AGIS intercompany invoices for Corporate division entities.
• Approval GL journals for Corporate division entities as well as review of certain cross charges, options costs cleardown and balance reclasses.
• HFM Validation review and promotion of corporate entities.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations in Blackline - review & approval of accounts in Corporate Division entities.
• Primary contact for LSEG plc audit, liaising directly with the auditors, closing down queries and resolving any issues.
Requirements
Equivalent Degree in Accounting, Finance and relevant or working towards accounting qualification.
7 years accounting experience
Strong accounting knowledge.
Proven track record to work effectively in a team.
Skills and knowledge
Qualified or part qualified accountant
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across global teams.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Strong systems aptitude; experience with Fusion and HFM is highly desirable.
• Process-oriented with the ability to design and maintain effective control frameworks
• Self-starter, able to take initiative and be prepared to take the lead in resolving issues and improving processes
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
