Description

The Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach will assist the Director of Sports Performance and the Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach with general oversight of the Strength and Conditioning Program for the university's 15 NCAA Division II sports.

This position includes Fall and Spring tuition and a stipend. Summer stipend and tuition is a possibility as well. 

Essential tasks include:

-Assist with day to day operation of the strength and conditioning facility; 
-Oversee assigned sports programs; work with Director of Sports Performance to develop sport specific workouts; 
-Work directly with student athletes and the coaching staffs to develop, illustrate, oversee, and document the progress of the student athletes' physical fitness and conditioning. 
-Other duties as assigned 

Requirements

The candidate must be accepted to The University of Alabama in Huntsville graduate school for consideration. 

Required:

Bachelor's degree.  

Preferred:

One (1) year related experience and S.C.C.C. or C.S.C.S. certification.
