The Seasonal Assistant will play a critical role in the overall golf operation. This position works closely with the Professional Staff while gaining exposure to every aspect of the operation, providing a well-rounded and immersive learning experience. Exceptional performance during your tenure may lead to an Assistant Professional position.

This is a seasonal position, with the opportunity to transition into a year-round role based on performance.

Experience Required

• We expect all applicants to possess not only a general, but a broader working knowledge of both the game of golf and the business of golf.
  
  Additional experience is a plus for all applicants. Experience in the areas listed below is preferred but not required.
  
  The Head Professional's goal and responsibility is to ensure you receive adequate training, experience, and understanding in all of the following areas:

Essential Responsibilities

• Our Season Assistant Professional will experience and work in every facet of the golf operation, ensuring they gain the knowledge, exposure, and hands-on experience required for their respective PGM Program and a comprehensive understanding of a full-scale golf operation.
  
  Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  
  • Coordinate the Turf Valley Golf experience
    • Greet Members & Guest upon arrival
    • Anticipate Play and Assist the Golf Operations Team in managing the Daily Play
    • Ensure all Practice Facilities are stocked and clean throughout the day
    • Manage Billing Procedures for Daily Member and Guest Activity
  • Golf Shop Support
    • Maintain an up to date and accurate tee sheet for our Starter & On-Course Player Assistant
    • Restock & Maintain Pro Shop Merchandise
    • Be Proactive in create new and creative merchandise displays
  • Tournament Operations
    • Ensure all Tournaments have the necessary material before play (Rules, Scorecards, Tee Gifts, Booklets, etc.)
    • Proper golf cart setup with all amenities and supplies stocked
    • Exposure to Golf Genius Tournament Software
  • Assist in Areas:
    • On Course Player Assistance
    • Outside Operations
    • Tournament Management
    • Merchandising & Inventory
    • New Member on boarding
    • Member Assistance when needed
    • Management of the Golf Operation in the absence of the Head Golf Professional
    • Outing Set up & implementation
    • Ladies Player Development Program
    • Men's & Ladies League
