Description

We are seeking a Research Assistant who will be conducting research experiment in the broad environmental electrochemistry field for the sustainable production of chemicals, water, and energy.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Investigate the efficiency of electrochemical chlorine and bromine production in organic ethers.
• Prepare solutions.
• Operate rotating ring disk electrodes.
• Quantify faradaic efficiencies.
• Draft weekly reports.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
• Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: $17.20 - $30.30 HRLY (Commensurate with experience)

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 20hrs/wkly
