Description
Job Duties:
- Telephones
- Tasking
- Triage
- Pre-certifications
- Medication Refills
- Assistance with scheduling on occasion
- Rooming patients
- Obtaining and documenting patient vitals and histories.
- Preparing patients for exams.
- Assisting physician (provider) with exams and minor procedures
- Injections
- Stocking, monitoring and cleaning exam rooms/work area and patient waiting areas.
- Various other duties as assigned/needed.
Requirements:
- Must be Registered or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant.
- Licensed Practical Nurse will also be considered for this position.
- Previous medical office experience is REQUIRED.
- Proficient computer skills with Electronic Medical Record experience.
- Knowledge of medications.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills necessary.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to function in organized manner within a very busy, fast-paced setting.
- Multi-tasking skills required.
- High focus on quality patient care.
As expected with all healthcare positions, must adhere to HIPAA/OSHA/BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN regulations and maintain annual required workplace trainings.
