MGH Rural Medicine Seeking Physicians
The Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Rural Medicine Program, housed within the Division of General Internal Medicine, seeks outstanding hospitalist and primary care physicians to join our faculty. We seek physicians of diverse backgrounds who are excited to engage in the clinical, educational, and scholarly missions of our program at MGH and in teaching activities at Harvard Medical School. The role requires regular out-of-state travel to work at rural clinical site(s). Academic rank at Harvard Medical School as Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor, full-time and part-time will be commensurate with qualifications and experience, including relevant experience in medical education, health system leadership, research, and community service.
Candidates are expected to be board-eligible with either the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Family Medicine, the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, and where applicable, the American Board of Pediatrics.
