Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in South Carolina, seeks Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program, a Regional Clinical Program accredited by the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
Director Role Highlights
- Lead the Pulmonary Hypertension Program
- Define and implement the strategy for Pulmonary Hypertension services
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients with pulmonary vascular disease.
Participate in clinical research and educational activities related to pulmonary hypertension.
Qualifications
- Board certified in Pulmonology
Sufficient experience beyond Fellowship to qualify as Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program according to Pulmonary Hypertension Association criteria.
The Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program will work closely with:
- Cardiologists from within the Prisma Health Division of Cardiology
- Local and regional experts in the Pulmonary Hypertension community
- Fellows from within the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program
Optional Responsibilities Include:
- Participation in Critical Care services, including teaching
- Participation in Non-PH Pulmonology services, including teaching
