We are seeking an experienced full-time Physician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented and passionate about patient care. This position offers the opportunity to practice collaboratively with our physician and staff while enjoying professional growth and autonomy. Your schedule would be 3-4 days a week. Call is shared with other providers in the group.
Responsibilities:
* provide comprehensive patient evaluations, diagnosis and treatment plans
* perform physical exams and order/interpret diagnostic tests
* prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
* facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals as appropriate
* communicate with supervising physician(s) regarding patient care
* document patient encounters in the EMR system accurately and timely
Qualifications:
* current and unrestricted Kentucky license
* prescriptive authority and current DEA or willing to obtain
* ability to build rapport with patients
* ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
* strong clinical, organizational and communication skills
