Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Performs and documents patient physical assessment to identify priority care needs, obtains a detailed medical history, identified patients at physiological and/or physiological risk.  Performs procedures necessary to implement plan of care, orders tests and consults as required by plan of care.  Accurately documents all patient care activities and evaluates the outcome of patient care.

Requirements

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Minimum of 1 year working as a licensed Physician Assistant
• Active PA license in Alabama
• BLS Certified within 90 days of hire
• Preferred Experienced: 2 years working as a licensed physician assistant in a surgery clinic setting
