Symbios Health, a leading provider of personalized healthcare on Hilton Head Island, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Physical Rehabilitation team. At Symbios, we specialize in hands-on, manual care with individualized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love—whether it’s lifting grandkids, playing golf, or enjoying the Lowcountry lifestyle. As a PTA, you will work under the direction of our expert Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality, one-on-one care in our state-of-the-art facility, contributing to our mission of treating the whole person, not just the diagnosis. 

Requirements

Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, focusing on manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to improve patient outcomes.

 Provide direct patient care, including guiding patients through exercises, monitoring progress, and adjusting interventions as needed under supervision.

 Uphold Symbios Health’s commitment to patient-centered care by fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.

 Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Physical Therapists, primary care providers, and fitness staff, to support Symbios Health’s holistic approach to wellness.

 Document patient sessions accurately using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

 Demonstrate exercises and assist with mobility training, ensuring patient safety and engagement.
