Description
BEVS is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pharmacy Assistant to join our dedicated team.Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists (BEVS) is Vermont's only specialty and 24/7 emergency animal hospital, delivering the highest level of veterinary care available in the state. We are currently looking for an evening team member to support our busy, collaborative, and compassionate hospital.
From expert emergency and critical care services available 24/7 to advanced specialty departments—including dentistry and oral surgery, internal medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, radioiodine therapy, and surgery—BEVS is a trusted partner to both pet owners and the region's primary care veterinarians.
Pharmacy Assistant
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Work closely with veterinarians and techs to provide quality care for our patients
- Be responsible for confirming and filling prescriptions
- Run in-hospital blood tests
- Perform routine lab equipment maintenance
- Work closely with the facilities and inventory managers for inventory control

REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a veterinary hospital preferred but not required
