Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Near the shores of the beautiful Chesapeake Bay

 The Centers for Advanced Orthopedics, Southern Maryland Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Division is searching for an eager and hardworking Physician Assistant to work as a member of the team with an Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in Adult Reconstruction and General Orthopedics.  Duties would be divided between Clinic and OR first assist with some hospital rounds. The successful candidate may run their own independent clinic.  Hours are Monday through Friday with little or no call required.  Applicants must have excellent communication skills.  Previous Orthopedic experience is a plus but will train the right candidate.   New grads are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Southern Maryland is within an hour and a half drive to cities like Washington DC, Baltimore and Annapolis MD, and Virginia cities like Alexandria and Arlington.  The area is surrounded by water to include the Chesapeake Bay and the Potomac and Patuxent Rivers.  There are many outdoor opportunities for camping, hunting, boating, fishing and crabbing.
