is collaborating with a facility in western South Carolina that has an opportunity for a skilled Medical Oncologist to assist their team.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts
• No call requirement
• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
• Daily Census: 20 inpatients, 25 outpatients
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
• Case Split: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology
• Required Duties: Tumor board participation, bone marrow transplant management, blood bank, ordering tests and images, and prescribing medication
• Team Structure: 7 MDs, 6 APPs
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered Medical Oncologist South Carolina state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited Medical Oncologist program
• One year of work experience as Medical Oncologist
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
