Locums Gastroenterology coverage is available in Kentucky with a block schedule and dedicated GI APP support-an excellent option if you want concentrated work blocks with time off between.

Highlights

• Block scheduling: 7-on/7-off with an ongoing need (dates still available)
• Inpatient-focused assignment with adult patients
• Strong support model: 3 inpatient APPs dedicated to GI (assist in endoscopy and on floors/ED)
• Open to IMLC physicians and the team will wait for a Kentucky license

Practice Setting

• Inpatient GI coverage
• Adult patient population
• Consultations with ED coverage included
• Typical daily volume noted at 10-20 patients/day

Schedule

• 24-hour call coverage with inpatient responsibilities
• Approximately 14 days per month needed
• 7-on/7-off structure-plan around your existing commitments
• Ongoing PRN/temporary coverage need with near-term start potential

Cases and Procedures

• Inpatient rounding and GI consults
• ED consult coverage as part of call
• Procedures are included during the coverage period

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Kentucky license required (will wait for license)
• Open to Interstate Medical License (IMLC) physicians
