Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our rapidly growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, comfortable with a mix of interventional procedures and longitudinal management, and eager to contribute to the growth of a dynamic, multi-site practice.
This role includes the opportunity to travel between our Watkinsville and Gainesville clinics, offering a diverse patient base, autonomy, and the chance to build long-term relationships across North Georgia as a top interventional pain management physician.
Responsibilities
Perform a full range of interventional procedures, including but not limited to:
- Epidural and facet injections
- Radiofrequency ablation
- Spinal cord stimulation trials and implants
- SI joint and peripheral joint procedures
- Trigger point injections
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Collaborate with referring physicians, physical therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document patient encounters and procedural reports in compliance with medical and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice development efforts
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, teamwork, and excellence in patient outcomes
Qualifications
- M.D. degree from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology, PM&R, or Neurology with fellowship training in - Interventional Pain Management
- Active (or eligible for) Georgia medical license
- Strong procedural proficiency and comfort with fluoroscopy-guided injections
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
