Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hematology/Oncology team at D’Amour Center for Cancer Center in Springfield, MA.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including hematologists/oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- The ideal candidate will provide care outpatient and inpatient care to Hematology patients undergoing active treatment, surveillance, follow-ups, sick visits, and responds to infusion areas rapid response needs. Educate patients and families about managing side effects and maintaining quality of life.
- Enjoy practicing with a collegial team that values professional satisfaction and excellent quality of life. Strong mentorship is available, with opportunities to participate in clinical research and contribute to the development of best practices and evidence-based guidelines in hematology and oncology.
- Full Time 36 hours per week, 4 days per week. The practice is open Monday-Friday.

Compensation:
The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
Salary range: $130,500-165,300
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution. Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Advanced certification in oncology or hematology preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hematology/oncology or a related field; new graduates with a strong clinical background and interest in oncology will be considered.
