Gastroenterology Locums in Massachusetts - 1 Week per Month Blocks

Inpatient GI assignment in Massachusetts offering monthly block scheduling with required procedures and full support staff.

Highlights

• Only 1 week/month; block scheduling with built-in time off
• 24-hour call for the week; carry a beeper overnight
• Inpatient-only; no outpatient or clinic duties

Practice Setting

• Acute adult hospital setting
• Floor, ED, and ICU consults
• Onsite lab and x-ray support
• EPIC EMR

Schedule

• Call block: Friday 4 PM to Friday 4 PM
• 24-hour coverage, approx. 1:4 call structure
• December start, ongoing monthly assignments available

Cases and Procedures

• General GI: EGD, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, small bowel biopsy
• Required: liver biopsy, esophageal manometry/dilatation
• ERCP/EUS not required

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active Massachusetts license required
• BLS certification
