Overview

Skybrook Golf Club, one of Charlotte's premier semi-private golf facilities, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the game of golf, committed to providing exceptional guest service, and eager to grow within the golf industry.

Experience Required

• Prior golf course or golf shop experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and industry trends.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented mindset.
• PGA Member or PGA Associate

Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to members and guests throughout daily golf operations.
• Assist with tee time management, check-in, and point-of-sale transactions.
• Oversee practice facility operations and ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Help manage tournaments, leagues, and club events, including setup, scoring, and coordination.
• Provide basic instruction or club fittings as needed (based on experience).
• Maintain golf shop merchandising standards, product displays, and inventory.
• Monitor pace of play and ensure an enjoyable experience for all golfers.
• Support outside operations team as needed, including cart management and staging.
• Uphold club policies, safety procedures, and professional standards.
