Overview

Matt and the team at Huntington will aim to provide an elite golf experience for all members and guests through exceptional service and programming. Our goal is to create a fun work environment with a good work/life balance. It is an exciting and active time at the club, with a junior program of around 150 juniors and a fast-growing ladies program. Matt is seeking two assistant professionals. The First Assistant Professional will be heavily involved in coaching lessons and executing a very successful Player Development Program. This position is 4/1-10/31. He or she will have plenty of opportunities to provide instruction and clinics to men, women, and juniors of all ages. Both assistants will be expected to lead forward a very successful junior program and an emerging ladies program while assisting an active tournament and day to day calendar. The second assistant will be expected to work 9 months.

Huntington Country Club boasts an amazing Devereux Emmet golf course, a beautiful newly renovated driving range, and great short game practice facilities.

Experience Required

PGA/LPGA Member, Strong teaching and playing background preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

Job Description: There are many duties and responsibilities that are expected to be carefully and correctly carried out by the assistants, including: merchandising, special orders, day to day golf operations, website/calendar/social media, organizing and executing tournaments with GolfGenius. There are ample practice and playing opportunities, as the Professional Staff will be expected to play with the membership when time permits.
