Description
Democrat John Cavanaugh is running to flip NE-02 blue. John is an Omaha native, dad of four, and current State Senator who is running to lower costs and stand up to Trump. This will be one of the most competitive House races in the country, and the Finance Assistant will have a chance to help the campaign raise the vast resources needed to flip this seat.
Key Duties:
Assisting with fundraising call time -- staffing Sen. Cavanaugh as he calls supporters, logging all activity into databases, prospecting donors ahead of time, and following up with daily call time contacts
Assisting with pledge tracking and donor follow-up
Assisting with fundraising events by regularly communicating with hosts, recruiting guests, and managing RSVPs and invites
Assisting with other fundraising needs as they arise
Assisting with digital fundraising needs such as sending fundraising emails and texts
Creating graphics for fundraisers and social media campaigns
Other duties as assigned
Salary Range: The salary range for this position begins at $3,800 per month. All employees receive an additional monthly healthcare stipend.

Requirements
Qualifications:
1+ cycles of campaign experience is preferred
Knowledge of Google Suite is required, experience with NGP is preferred
Must have strong written and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
Time management skills are a must
Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights and weekends
Strong team player and a positive attitude
Donor prospecting and research experience preferred
Must have access to laptop, smart phone, and car
Must live or be willing to relocate to the Omaha area
