The Economics & Finance department in Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's School of Business seeks applicants for a 9-month Visiting Assistant Professor in Economics beginning August 2026. The candidate's responsibilities will include developing and teaching undergraduate courses in Economics and Business Statistics and related areas.
The Economics & Finance department is part of the School of Business, which houses a diverse set of disciplines. This diversity provides opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaborative research and curricula.
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville is a public, comprehensive, regional university with an enrollment of over 12,000 students. Qualifications
Applicants must hold a PhD or be ABD nearing completion of a doctoral degree in Economics or a closely related field, with preference given to applicants from an AACSB-accredited institution. Candidates must be qualified as Scholarly Academic by AACSB standards.
