Overview

Old Trail Golf Club is a private owned, public golf club located in Crozet, Virginia and features an 18-hole championship golf course, practice facilities and full-service Clubhouse. Nestled at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains and just a few miles west of Charlottesville, Old Trail Golf Club is the centerpiece of the spectacular Old Trail Village community. We are located 15 minutes outside of Charlottesville, VA and within walking distance of downtown Crozet.

Old Trail Golf Club is looking for a passionate and hardworking entry Level assistant to work closely with the Lead Assistant Professional and/or Director of Golf to manage all aspects of the golf shop operation on a daily basis. This includes overseeing the retail operations, and member relations. This position ensures the golf shop is running smoothly and provides exceptional service to club members, guests, and staff. Old Trail GC owns and operates a Golf Simulators in our Swing Lab during the winter months providing the membership with year-round golf, and year-round golf instruction opportunities. Old Trail GC has a supportive and engaging membership, excellent practice range, and a superior quality golf course that has hosted many outside, internal, VSGA, and PGA Section events

Experience Required

Customer Service 2-3 years

Basic Golf Knowledge

Basic Point of Sales systems useage

Desire to learn, grow, and become a Class A professional if that is what you desire

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with Membership Goals and Initiatives
• Assisting the resident PGA professionals with the merchandise concessions (receiving, displaying, selling, managing par levels, special order and physical inventories)
• Assisting in our robust junior golf programs
• Assisting in execution of group clinics in conjunction with the resident professionals.
• Assist in the execution of Golf Tournaments and Events
• Assist in Outside Staff to insure Club Standards
• Reporting to the Director of Golf & Lead Professional
• Assist in Achieving the highest customer service standards
• Provide Club Repair Services(will train)
• Maintain and promote a positive professional image in the community
• Play with members and guests to promote Old Trail Golf Club
