American Dermatopathology Laboratory is the creative vision of Dr. H. Nicholas Shamma, a dermatopathologist of pathology background. We are a comprehensive, CLIA-certified and independent physician-owned lab laboratory (one of the very few remaining in the US), serving our Dayton community, Ohio and multiple other states. We are focused on providing clinicians and their patients with reliable diagnoses of skin biopsies. We use state of the art processes and a high standard of care. This position involves exclusively dermatopathology with a focus on interpreting skin biopsies and excisions. Salary is negotiable based on experience $400,000-800,000. Partnership will be offered, in time, to the right candidate.

Requirements

All candidates should have MD/DO degree, with specialty in either anatomic pathology or dermatology and a subspecialty in dermatopathology (certified or eligible). This is a full-time position. However, applicants with dermatology background interested in part-time position will be considered. Experience is preferred but fellows are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate should have strong diagnostic skills, excellent communication abilities and a collaborative spirit with the staff and referring clinicians.  Candidates must hold/eligible to obtain a medical license in Ohio and other multiple states where referrals originate.
