Practice Setting

• Large academic facility with Level II trauma center
• Full subspecialty support: cardiac anesthesia, CVICU, RNFAs, perfusion, and APPs
• Epic EMR in use

Schedule

• 24-hour call - 7 AM to 7 AM daily
• Inpatient only, no clinic
• 1-week blocks; Dec 22-29 still available

Cases and Procedures

• CABG, valve repair/replacement, carotid endarterectomy
• Peripheral vascular surgery and lead/device removal
• Rounding, consults, and emergent cases only
• Complex cases may be transferred

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery
• Active Tennessee license required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA

Travel Accommodations

• Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
• Memphis International Airport (MEM) is the closest airport
