Ongoing Cardiology coverage needed in Northern California with light call and scenic lakeside setting.

Highlights

• Weekday-only schedule; no weekends
• 1:2 call rotation; phone consults only, rare call-backs
• California license not required to start; will wait
• Option to convert to permanent after 6 months

Practice Setting

• 25-bed critical access hospital near Clear Lake
• Mix of clinic and inpatient cardiology
• Supported by RNs, MAs, echo techs, and hospitalists
• Epic EMR

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8a-5p
• Call is phone-based and infrequent
• Long-term locums; ideal for providers open to consistent coverage

Cases and Procedures

• General cardiology, CHF, arrhythmia, HTN
• ECHO reads, TEE, pacemaker supervision (no implants)
• ~19 patients/day; 25% inpatient volume

Requirements

• Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years)
• ACLS, BLS, DEA required
• California license or IMLC; or willingness to obtain
