Description

-Position will report directly to the golf course superintendent

-Position does require work on weekends and holidays during the golf season (March 1 -December 1)

-Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

-Manage/Oversee staff of 5 full-time employees and 5-10 seasonal employees with hiring and firing responsibilities.

-Organize and execute morning meeting with staff prior to start of day.

-Answering questions and keeping employees on task throughout the day.

- Create job assignments and implement throughout day.

-Train employees on safe equipment operation.

-Evaluate employee performance for additional responsibilities.

-Assist in daily/weekly/monthly planning to maximize efficiency.

-Mowing, Fertilizer & Chemical Applications, Hand Watering, Irrigation Repair/Troubleshooting, Topdressing, and Aerification of maintained turf.
