Description
The Steuben County Public Defender's Office serves our community with high quality, client-centered, holistic criminal defense in the beautiful Southern Tier Region of Upstate New York. This position will primarily focus on felony representation with a small misdemeanor caseload. This attorney will also be required to represent clients with parole violations and participate in the County's Centralize Arraignment, Drug Treatment and Youth Parts.
Salary ranges from $75,941 to $118,771 DOE.

Requirements
Graduation from a regionally accredited or NYS certified Law School;
Admitted to the NYS Bar and be in "good standing";
Experience in the practice of Criminal Law in NY.
