- Assistant Prosecuting Attorney
Description
The Seneca County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is accepting applications for an assistant prosecuting attorney in the Criminal Felony Division. The successful candidate's primary responsibilities will be:
- Review evidence and research applicable laws to analyze cases and determine the appropriate charge.
- Present cases at trial, arraignments, grand jury proceedings, and other hearings.
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement, court personnel, defense counsel, victims, and witnesses.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or required by the Seneca County Prosecuting Attorney
Annual salary begins at $60,000 and increases commensurate with experience. 40-hour work week; no outside legal practice permitted. Fully county benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), paid time off, and Ohio Public Employees Retirement System.

Requirements
Applicants should possess a Juris Doctor degree and be licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio. Consideration given to individuals taking the February or July 2026 bar examination.
