The Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology at the Yale School of Medicine is currently seeking a board eligible/board certified or equivalent GI surgical oncologist with a focus on peritoneal surface malignancies and robotic surgery, to join our comprehensive and growing team. Our division of surgical oncology currently has over 20 faculty members, with a vibrant clinical, research and educational portfolio. Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor of Surgery. Interests in translational research and/or clinical trials are attractive but not required for this position.
Primary responsibilities will include advancing the robotic surgical oncology program, with an emphasis on treating complex malignancies and participating in clinical trials. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding our capabilities in minimally invasive cancer care and should demonstrate a strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration. In addition to clinical responsibilities, faculty members are expected to engage in the education and mentorship of medical students and residents, as well as contribute meaningfully to our ongoing research initiatives.
