The Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship at Montana State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in finance. We seek candidates who are dedicated to excellence in the classroom, to producing impactful research, and who will thrive in our rich, mountainous environment.
The finance program offers an undergraduate concentration as part of the BS in Business program and may contribute to the graduate MS in Innovation and Management program. Therefore, a successful candidate must be able to teach with high quality across a variety of finance courses and topics at the Bachelor and Master levels, carrying a load of five sections per academic year. The successful candidate should be able to collaborate with faculty across a broad cross-section of business disciplines and provide college and university service and engagement. Faculty members are expected to publish impactful research in quality, peer-reviewed journals related to the finance field.

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Ph. D or D.B.A. degree with emphasis in Finance or a closely related field by start date.
- Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance supporting all business majors.
- Potential to carry on a successful program of scholarly research resulting in publication in quality peer-reviewed journals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience teaching upper level and graduate courses.
- Ability to teach in more than one business area.
- Record of refereed publications.
- Professional experience and/or certifications, including CFA, CPA, and CFP certifications.
