Overview

This Assistant Professional Role will be a hands-on experience that will allow the successful candidate to gain experience in every aspect of the business. The goal of our program at Trump National is to provide assistants with an opportunity to grow and learn about the entire golf operation at a busy, seasonal club while adding value to the operation. This assistant's position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

• Provide coverage in the Golf Shop for approximately 20-25 hours per week while assisting with merchandising, inventory, and special orders.
• Actively teach and coach our membership, provide club fittings, and participate in instructional program development.
• Lead all member tournament operations. Must be proficient on Golf Genius Tournament Software
• Lead Junior Devlopment Program
• Actively assist fellow assistants with their duties.
• Play golf with Members & Guests when time allows.
• Assist the Head Professional in all aspects of a successful golf operation.

This role can expect to work 6 days weekly and approximately 45-55 hours per week at peak season, including time spent teaching and coaching. Practicing and playing is encouraged when appropriate.

Experience Required

The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2-3 years experience at a private club, have a good understanding of Golf Genius tournament software and have a strong interest in becoming a future Head Golf Professional. Must be PGA Class A or actively working towards membership.
