An Assistant Golf Professional supports the Head Golf Professional in the daily management of golf operations, member services, player development programs, merchandising, and tournament administration. The role blends customer service, instruction, operational oversight, and business management within a golf facility.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service to members and guests, ensuring an exceptional golf experience.
• Assist with tee sheet management, pace-of-play monitoring, and golf shop operations.
• Conduct individual and group lessons, player clinics, and junior golf programs.
• Administer tournaments, including pairings, scoring, rules application, and event logistics.
• Support merchandising functions: inventory control, product display standards, ordering, and sales.
• Enforce facility policies, golf course etiquette, and safety standards.
• Manage practice facility operations, equipment, and ball inventory.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management as directed by the Head Professional.
