Description
Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for an Assistant Manager - Planning - Rail, who will play an essential role in the development and execution of planning strategies for our rail projects. In this position, you will work closely with the planning and engineering teams to ensure that all rail initiatives align with our growth objectives and the vision of Qiddiya as an innovative entertainment destination.Your focus will be on coordinating project timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder communications to facilitate the smooth execution of rail development projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and development of rail projects, ensuring that they meet established timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure integration of rail systems within overall project plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for rail initiatives, providing analysis to support decision-making.
- Monitor progress against project schedules, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Engage with governmental and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with rail planning requirements.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and external partners to gather data and coordinate efforts.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in rail planning and technology, applying this knowledge to project strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in project planning, specifically in rail systems or transportation projects.
- Strong understanding of rail planning methodologies, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.
- Proficient in project management software and planning tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with large-scale transportation or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
