Overview

As an Assistant Golf Professional at Vineyards Country Club, you are a key ambassador for one of Naples' premier private, family-owned clubs.

Supporting the Head Golf Professional and the Director of Golf, you will ensure a "SHINING" service experience for a membership that enjoys 36 holes of championship golf (the North and South Courses). Your role is a blend of high-end hospitality, technical golf expertise, and operational management.

Experience Required

• PGA/LPGA Member preferred, but PGA Associates will be considered
• 2+ years of high-end, private country club experience is preferred
• High proficiency in Golf Genius is a must
• Experience in ClubEssential Point of Sale and ForeTees is preferred, but can be taught

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and engaging members and guests with professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness
• Ensure adherence to Vineyards SHINE Standards, including Service, Helpful, Integrity, Notice and Exceed
• Support daily golf shop operations, including working the counter, processing transactions, and managing tee time requests and reservations
• Maintain strong visibility and interaction with members, both in the golf shop and on the golf course, to enhance the overall club experience
• Provide golf instruction and lessons to members, including individual and group clinics, in alignment with departmental standards
• Play rounds of golf with members as appropriate to foster relationships, engagement, and member satisfaction
• Assist with the coordination and execution of tournaments, outings, and club events using Golf Genius Tournament Management software
• Maintain proper phone etiquette and ensure timely, professional communication with members and guests
• Assist in monitoring pace of play and support on-course operations as needed
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards within the golf shop and related areas
• Support outside services staff to ensure smooth daily operations and proper service coverage
• Address member and guest inquiries in a professional and timely manner, escalating concerns when appropriate
• Perform opening and/or closing procedures as scheduled

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Occasional extended hours may be required, including assisting with closing operations and remaining on-site until play is completed when necessary
• Work is performed in both indoor (golf shop) and outdoor (golf course) environments
