Overview

Westwood Country Club, founded in 1954, is an elite, member owned, private country club located in Vienna, VA. Westwood sits in a prime location in the shadows of Tyson's Corner. The club currently is on an eight-year waitlist with an initiation fee of $125,000.

The club recently finished a 15 million dollar improvement project that included a sixty seat golf simulator lounge with 3 Full Swing golf simulators, an 8,000 square foot fitness center, a wine cellar, expanded day care facilities, a new bag room, new cart facility and a new permanent tennis center that features one of only sixteen Court Tennis courts in the United States and one of only 51 worldwide. This winter the club began a complete locker room renovation, irrigation system upgrade, pool renovation and is building a new 3 bay indoor/outdoor golf performance center on the driving range.

The candidate will join a staff of six PGA Professionals as well as the Westwood community that promotes a positive working culture. We are seeking individuals who have a passion for customer service to be a part of the Westwood team.

The Club's mission is to provide the finest experience anywhere in dining, entertainment, and recreation. This is achieved through the Club's world class amenities, and the superior service provided by our dedicated staff.

The Assistant Golf Professional will report directly to the PGA Head Golf Professional. Key job functions will include elite customer service, tournament operations, golf instruction, club fitting, staff management and training. A typical work week will be a five day work week that includes one day entirely to teaching and playing golf.
