The Assistant Golf Professional is expected to assist with the daily tasks and procedures of the Golf Operation.

Experience Required

• PGA Member or PGM Associate preffered
• College degree preferred; High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven track record of team management, organizational and coaching skills
• Experience with Word, Excel and Golf Genius software

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide a visible, professional, and positive presence throughout the Club and Golf Operation
• Responsible for opening and closing procedures of the Golf Shop
• Manage tee sheet reservations, adjustments, and cancellations
• Aid in the administration of tournament operations including the use of Golf Genius
• Perform club fitting and minor club repair services
• Assist with merchandising and inventory management
• Monitor Golf Course and practice areas to present a professional presence and enhance Member engagement
• Conduct individual lessons and group clinics
• Active involvement in the Junior Golf program
