The Beaufort Club , located in Beaufort , is seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. The Beaufort Club is a semi-private facility located just minutes from the Crystal Coast's beautiful beaches, offering an exceptional golf experience to members, guests, and the surrounding community.

This position supports all aspects of golf operations, including daily play management, tournament execution, merchandising, instruction, and member services. The ideal candidate is a motivated professional who is passionate about the game of golf, committed to delivering outstanding customer service, and eager to grow within the PGA of America pathway.

Working closely with the Head Golf Professional and General Manager, the Assistant Golf Professional plays a key role in creating a welcoming, organized, and enjoyable environment for players of all skill levels. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual seeking hands-on experience at a vibrant coastal club known for its friendly atmosphere, quality course conditions, and active event calendar.

Experience Required

Preferred: Entry level Associate

High School Diploma

1 Year in the golf industry

Essential Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to members, guests, and daily-fee players
• Assist with daily golf shop operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Manage tee sheets, check in players, and ensure smooth pace of play
• Coordinate and execute tournaments, outings, leagues, and club events
• Assist with merchandising, inventory control, displays, and retail sales
• Support member engagement initiatives and guest relations
• Enforce club policies, course rules, and safety standards in a professional manner
• Communicate effectively with outside operations, maintenance, and food & beverage teams
• Provide golf instruction, clinics, and player development programs as needed
• Assist with junior golf programs and player development initiatives
• Maintain accurate point-of-sale transactions and daily financial controls
• Support handicap administration and scoring systems
• Monitor course conditions and relay operational needs to appropriate departments
• Represent the club in a professional manner on and off the golf course
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities
