This individual should demonstrate a strong commitment to exceptional member service while contributing positively to the culture of the professional staff and the club. The ideal candidate will have a clear desire to be-come a Head Golf Professional in the coming years and possess an enthusiastic and en-gaging personality with a strong presence around the club. They should be an energetic leader who inspires others, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced private club environment. Strong organizational skills, attention to de-tail, and excellent communication are essential, along with a passion for teaching and sharing the game with players of all abilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism while anticipating the needs of mem-bers and staff. Above all, they will embrace the family-oriented atmosphere of Quaker Ridge Golf Club, contributing as both a supportive teammate and a leader within the golf operation while helping mentor and guide fellow staff members.

Essential Responsibilities

Member Service & Operations

• Provide an exceptional service environment, consistently striving to exceed the expectations of members and their guests.
• Maintain a strong and visible presence throughout the golf operation, actively engaging with members on a daily basis.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with the Head Golf Professional and professional staff to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Assist in all aspects of the daily golf operations.
• Anticipate the needs of members and guests to help create world class golf experience.

Tournament & Golf Program Operations

• Lead the execution of select member tournaments from start to finish, including event promotion, setup, scoring, and results using Golf Genius.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of the club's men's, women's, mixed, and junior golf pro grams and events.
• Support the club's active tournament schedule including member events and invitationals.
• Assist with tournament preparation including pairings, scoring, and results using Golf Genius and other tournament software.
• Attend relevant golf committee meetings when invited.

Golf Shop & Merchandising

• Assist in all aspects of the golf shop operation including merchandising, inventory management, and point-of-sale transactions.
• Support management of the club's hard goods program.
• Provide club repair and club fitting services.

Teaching & Player Development

• The ideal candidate will be a passionate and capable golf instructor who enjoys working with players of all abilities.
• There is a significant opportunity to develop a strong teaching program, with the potential to

deliver 300+ hours of instruction during the season.

• The Assistant Professional will have the opportunity to build and grow their own instruction busi ness within the club.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to junior golf, helping foster the next generation of players through PGA junior league, junior clinics, camps, and instructional programs.
• Be comfortable teaching both accomplished players and beginners.
