Overview

Glen Eagle Golf Club is seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-service-oriented Seasonal Full-Time Assistant Golf Professional to join our Golf Operations team. This position plays a vital role in the day-to-day management of the golf shop, outside services, tournament operations, and instructional programs.

The ideal candidate is passionate about the game of golf, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to grow within the golf industry.

Experience Required

• PGA Associate or desire to pursue PGA Membership preferred
• Previous golf operations experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Knowledge of golf rules, etiquette, and tournament operations
• Experience with golf POS systems (GolfNow, ForeUp, etc.) is a plus
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic required

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily management of golf shop operations
• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests
• Coordinate and execute tournaments, leagues, and club events
• Manage tee sheet utilizing POS system
• Assist with merchandising, inventory control, and retail displays
• Support outside service staff with pace of play and player assistance
• Provide private and group golf instruction (when applicable)
• Enforce club policies and maintain a professional atmosphere
• Assist with junior golf programs and player development initiatives
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of golf shop and practice areas
