Squires Golf Club is the premier men-only golf club in the Greater Philadelphia market. It was founded in 1962, with an official golf course opening in 1964, designed by George Fazio. The founding members' philosophy was to create a club for gentlemen who were unrestricted in religion or nationality and had a common desire to play golf. To create a challenging golf course, a small but comfortable clubhouse, where you are only restricted by the rules of the game and etiquette imposed on all golfers.

Squires is seeking a motivated assistant to join our team. The new team member will provide top-quality service to our members and guests. The role will support all aspects of the golf operation. We have a close-knit team, and responsibilities are shared among us. We pride ourselves on working together to deliver an outstanding golf experience for members and guests. With a small membership, Squires is known for fast play, a limited tournament schedule, and no tee times. Annual rounds number approximately 9,000.

Job Essentials and Experience

• Shows a passion for the game of golf and the PGA.
• Assist in the daily Golf Shop Operation.
• Support the Tournament Operation and be proficient in Golf Genius software.
• Must have proficient computer skills.
• Ability to communicate with the membership.
• Support the merchandising operation.
• Provide lessons and support the Junior Program.
• Provide club fittings using Trackman and GC Quad.
• Perform minor club repair.
• Playing opportunities with the membership.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and be a team player.
• PGA member with private club experience is preferred.

This can be a year-round or seasonal position.
